Screw feeder Diamondback's screw feeder retrofits existing bins to eliminate flooding, flushing and erratic flow. Along with the arch-breaking capabilites, the screw also densifies powders for sack or bag filling, seals against pressures and vacuums, and provides uniform density for weigh hopper applications, the company said. The manufacturer offers the screw feeder in 6-, 12- and 18-in. diameters. The feeder is coated on key areas with wear-resistant steel.
