Some equipment managers are breathing easy about their rate of diesel consumption after equipping engines with a new fuel catalyst. The catalyst helps diesel fuel systems burn diesel more efficiently, decreasing consumption and emissions. And with this year's rise in fuel prices, every drop counts. The fuel catalyst, made by Rentar, uses a combination of metals to de-cluster the fuel's carbon molecule chains that clump together before combustion.
