Dyno Nobel Initiation Systems

Dyno Nobel offers its HotShot and Digidet initiation systems. According to the company, the HotShot system eliminates the need to program each detonator individually; a digital signal sent to one detonator is recognized and then relayed to the next detonator. Its auto-detection capability automatically locates individual detonators and creates a visual presentation of the entire blast layout, and automatic programming assigns delays prior to blasting by means of a menu-driven interface.
